Wegovy Pill UK is about one form of one medicine: oral semaglutide 25 mg, the tablet version of Wegovy, licensed by the MHRA on 11 June 2026.
Why the tablet has its own guide
The tablet contains the same active ingredient as the Wegovy injection, but taking it is a different routine. It is swallowed on an empty stomach with a sip of water, then you wait at least 30 minutes before eating, drinking or taking other medicines. Its dose ladder (1.5 mg, 4 mg, 9 mg, then 25 mg) also uses numbers that overlap with Rybelsus, a separate oral semaglutide for type 2 diabetes. Those details are easy to get wrong, so this site concentrates on them.
